President's Corner

Father Nick encouraged us as a Parish, through Philiptochos to provide help to those in need - as Outreach our role is to assist those in physical, financial and spiritual need. Turn to Bible - Christ is clear about judgment and we’ll be judged by how well we provide for those in need.

Philoptochos is the Outreach Ministry of our Church. Fr Nick stated that we have a rich history with past projects (such as Angel Tree and City Rescue Mission); but we should work on putting “meat on the skeleton.” He expressed his wish that the entire church be led by Philoptochos. Our organization should be paving the way, for the entire community to gather together, with Fr Nick’s support. God rewards those who help those in need “not handouts - hands up.”
